The Bay of Quinte Green Party of Ontario presents the first in their 2023/24 Speaker Series - hybrid events where people can come in person or participate by zoom. Events are open to all and are not political. The hope is to explore and discuss themes that are important to the life of our community.
OUR THEME: How to build sustainable, affordable, liveable communities
WHERE: St Andrew’s, 31 King Street, Picton
6pm - meet and greet, pizza and finger food will be served, bring something if you wish
6:45pm - because it is our AGM, we will need to take 10 minutes to elect our Executive
7pm - speakers followed by Q&A
8pm - post-discussion with coffee and cookies to 8:30pm
Our first theme is how to build the communities we need. Ontario needs 1.5 million new homes and it’s easy to see how the rush to action can take precedence over questions like where to build, what designs to use, and how to make our new homes and communities sustainable and liveable.
