    History Nights @ St. Andrews

    Peter is a well-known local journalist and historian who has delighted Prince Edward County with his inspiring and fascinating talks. From September 2024 to February 2025, he will offer five events at St. Andrews. All events will include Peter’s presentation, which will consist of a slide show of pictures and video clips; some will show a documentary, and there will be a Q&A at the end.

    Wisdom of the Universe

    Wisdom of the Universe by Metis artist Christi Belcourt is the largest Indigenous mural on a church in Canada. The original, commissioned by the Art Gallery of Ontario, is comprised of 250,000 dots in the tradition of Metis pointillism.

    Death Café

    Death Café provides an informal opportunity to meet over tea and snacks and to discuss death and dying. We host 6 meetings a year. “A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session.”

    We host regular events with our friends and partners from Tyendinaga in support of the Truth & Reconciliation Calls to Action.
