Hikes with David

Rock Dunder Nature Reserve @ 10am - 72 Stanley Lash Lane, Lyndhurst, Ontario. We will meet at the trailhead for this hike of 5km. Rock Dunder Nature Reserve is a treasure that lies within the UNESCO Thousand Islands Frontenac Arch Biosphere. Rising 275 feet above Morton Bay, Rock Dunder provides breathtaking views of the surrounding lakes and woodlands. The trail leads to one of the highest points of land in the area, and offers stunning vistas. This is a challenging hill walk, with both steep inclines and declines for long sections, but worth your efforts. We will walk at a reasonable pace, and I expect the visit will be +/- 5 hours. The drive is +/- 1.5 hours each way and if you car pool and share the fuel cost that would be great. There is an entrance fee of $6.00 per person.
